Hunter outdoor ceiling fans are everywhere but they can only be distributed via a certified dealer.  The Hunter website is a great place to look at their current models and where you can find a dealer near you.  Some online retailers do carry hunter products so you should start with a thorough online search for who has the specific style or model you are looking for.  There is only one Hunter Fan Company so don’t get fooled by imitators.  Hunter is well known for their top quality materials and craftsmanship.  Hunter distributes their products all over the world so you should have no problem finding a Hunter fan distributor near you.  It is highly likely that you can find the exact fan you are looking for at any of your local home improvement stores.

My wife and I have been looking at different ways to add a little bit of space to our home.  We have looked at several room additions remodeling

alternatives including adding a screened in porch, sunroom and building a family room onto the back of the house.  Due to budget constraints and not wanting to get into too much expense we are seriously considering just adding a screened in porch as it seemed the most economical way to add room to the house. Since we live in the south this type of room addition will get used year round.  We are going to build it on a solid foundation concrete foundation and the contractor said if we ever decided to have it framed in completely it wouldn’t be too difficult.  Now Im curious as to if its going to be worth it to go this route or would it benefit us more to just do a full room addition now.

I have a penchant for cool old things. The other day I was visiting at her apartment in old town and the first thing I noticed at her door was an old fashioned doorbell. It was one of the ornate Victorian style mechanical doorbells that my grandmother told me stories about when I was growing up. Needless to say, I had my friend pretty peeved at me by the time she opened the door because once I started ringing that doorbell I didn’t stop. In fact I ringed it again when I was leaving. The ringing sound was cool all by itself, but the thing that put me over the top was the twisting action that was necessary to ring the bell. It just felt so cool to feel the bell rining due to you efforts. Not at all like a lifeless modern doorbell button.
