What To Know About Cricut Cartridges
You can never go wrong with Cricut Cartridges. Many aspiring artists have been inspired because of the countless amount of different designs and patterns available. Since Cricut is increasing in demand and popularity, it is good to know more about all the wonderful features it offers and how you can engage yourself more in your paper craft activities.
It seems to me that the best thing about Cricut cartridges is that it seems you can never run out of choices and ideas. There is a cartridge that will fit your every preference. There are fonts, shapes, cartoon characters and so much more. The prices of these cartridges range from about 50 dollars to even 100 dollars. So take a close look at your budget so you know exactly what you can buy. And believe me, with all the color and shape options, it is easy to want to buy more than you can afford.
If you are a fan of licensed characters, you can make cutouts from your favorite characters from almost any animated film. This is an excellent opportunity to include your children in the art making process. Seeing their favorite characters in front of them may inspire these little artists to want to create works of arts themselves.
Metal Yard Art
I recently took a welding class. The class itself was a gift from a friend that they had won at a charity auction. The prize was for a two day hands on welding crash course with a local artist. I have to say that I was a little intimidated before I started. Me welding? I just didn’t see it.
After a little bit of theory, I was welding in no time. I wasn’t any good at it at first but I was welding! Actually, I wasn’t very good at the end of the weekend either, but I definitely got better. The project I chose to do was to make an abstract piece of metal yard art. As far as yard art goes, my master pieces was subtle which is a good thing. I tries to make something that reminded me of a blooming daffodil. I don;t know if that is what anybody else sees when they look at it, but that is the beuaty of abstract art.
